Damon Braces

Self ligating braces are very different from Traditional braces.

-They have a self locking mechanism to hold the wire in place. This feature reduces chair side time: so shorter appointments

-Since they don’t have any elastomeric rings they are easier to clean

-Very comfortable as the self locking mechanism reduces friction and hence reduces pain experienced during orthodontic treatment

– Due to the low friction and low force systems, tooth movement is faster hence shorter treatment periods

-Damon Braces are also said to reduce the need for extractions but that depends from case to case.

-Fewer Appointments involved.

-Damon Braces are available in Metal and Ceramic(Damon Clear).

-The Ceramic Option is a highly esthetic option.
